Extremely rare example of Dune Buggy 1200 Fontauto Hobbycar, the "OFFICIAL" Buggy. Black plates of first Italian registration with the province of Padua, this Dune Buggy was marketed in Italy by the then official Volkswagen importer, Fontauto dealer. The only Dune Buggy sold under Volkswagen concession. All in Hobby Car kits were built using the 1960/64 or 1964/69 model Beetle platform. The model we offer has a 1200cc engine and is regularly approved for 4 seats. Curious and equally rare, this is the only Buggy that has a hard top, also available and supplied with the car.
